In occasione della prossima edizione della rinomata settimana del design, che si svolgerà anche quest’anno a Messukeskus a Helsinki a settembre (Helsinki Design Week 1-11 Settembre 2016), avrà luogo per la prima volta Showroom. Un nuovo evento di design e illuminazione per professionisti di settore organizzato e prodotto da Helsinki Design Week in collaborazione con Habitare.
Showroom will provide unprecedented opportunities for businesses in the field, through linking professional designers and buyers. "The cooperation will include the implementation of a strong B2B event concept that will present a more engaging and coherent event experience for both Finnish and international audiences", says the director of Helsinki Design Week, Kari Korkman.
L’iniziativa Showroom include anche Showroom Walk.
Showroom Walk 'satellites' will also bring the event to the exhibition spaces of businesses around Helsinki. "Showroom and Showroom Walk will provide our corporate customers with a more versatile way to participate in Habitare and the related events. By clearly differentiating consumer and professional events, we will strengthen both, and we can, in this way, create better and more targeted content for fair visitors, in cooperation with various stakeholders in the field. Our cooperation with Helsinki Design Week is a key part of the overall development of Habitare", says Habitare programme director Laura Sarvilinna.
