“The concept of luxury is changing, and people are more and more interested in investing in a sustainable lifestyle and wardrobe, enjoying life as it is and following their own path. By presenting the collection in a Marimekko home, we want to showcase our point of view on what good design is," spiega Anna Teurnell, Direttore Creativo di Marimekko.
“I find Finnish art very inspiring and versatile. Especially the work and creativity of Finnish female artists and their storytelling from figurative to abstract art and to a more reduced and sublime expression have been very inspiring to me. Like I and our design team, also they were influenced by this interesting and mystical country – its national epic, mysticism and craftsmanship” dice Anna Teurnell, Direttore Creativo di Marimekko.
