6 luglio: Eino Leino e il Giorno della Poesia

In Finlandia il 6 luglio si celebra il Giorno della Poesia in onore del poeta Eino Leino, nato il 6 luglio del 1878.

Oltre ad essere forse il poeta romantico più amato dai finlandesi, Leino è stato anche giornalista, romanziere, critico letterario e d'arte nonchè traduttore, tra gli altri, anche di Dante e della Divina Commedia (Jumalainen Näytelmä, 1912-14, in endecasillabi non rimati).
